Please describe what happened. Torey was scheduled to have his tonsils and adenoids removed. He was taken into surgery and after about an hour and a half the anesthesiologist came out and informed us that Torey had coded on the table and was without oxygen for eight minutes. He was transfered to another hospital where he has been for almost nine months. We now have a toddler in a man’s body. I forgot to say Torey was seventeen years old. They are saying that he had unknown Cardio Myopathy. Unbeknown to me there were no pre-ops obtained on a kid with a diagnosis of obesity and asthma. We now have a huge problem and can not get any help.
