Please describe what happened. I was in the emergency room of Springfield Regional Medical Center, passing a kidney stone. I was given morphine twice and reacted badly to it. My husband kept going out to find someone to come help me, but he was told they could do nothing because my nurse was Larry and he was in an emergency. Apparently, I was setting off alarms although I have no memory of that, and no one came to check on me. Only when transport took me to a floor in the hospital and the nurse came in to check my vitals, was a code called and I immediately had ten people working to save me. ( I only remember four; my husband told me there were ten.)
What was the outcome of the medical harm issue? “Near Miss” – no injury
