Many of you signed our PSAN Comment Letter to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ proposal to eliminate the collection and public reporting of certain hospital patient safety measures, June 25, 2018.

This letter was a response to CMS’s proposal to remove long-standing patient safety measures from their Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR) program. The IQR is the primary means by which hospitals are publicly rated for safety and reported on the public Hospital Compare website.

We collected 85 signatures!
