Please describe what happened. On May 2017 my wife underwent left hip replacement. Surgery went well but Pseudomonas and MRSA soon showed up causing a return to the hospital for IV antibiotic treatment. Evidently both bacteria have contaminated the prosthesis and all eradication efforts have failed. Right now, a year after the surgery and onset of the infection, she is still undergoing antibiotic treatment.
