Jamee Cook is a wife and mother of three boys who now devotes her time to raising public awareness on illness and complications related to silicone and saline breast implants. Her journey has gone from caregiver/paramedic, to harmed patient, to advocate.  She is co-founder of an organization called Breast Implant Victim Advocacy. One of her primary topics of research and advocacy is Breast Implant Associated Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma, a cancer directly related to breast implants. BIVA has been collaborating with other device injured groups, like Essure Problems, to bring attention to failed regulatory efforts and flawed postmarket surveillance.
